I had some wind damage and called NewRuf. They sent someone out the same day to assess the damage. I am happy with the repair it looks awesome. Gabe Kane was the person that worked with me. Great customer service is so hard to find but Gabe was professional, patient and kind. He followed up with me and was a great help throughout the process. I would definitely use NewRuf again. An update since original post below: After the new roof, we had a "dead valley" area that would leak but only in very heavy rain. I had noted this before they re-roofed it and said they would be sure to address. Well, after the re-roof it happened again a couple times, again only after heavy rains. Contacted them again and they completely took care of it. Said the original flashing just wasn't done properly and re-did that entire section. Bonus, while at it they also repaired a couple holes squirrels had made. Jonathan Ketterman did a good job evaluating our roof for damage and determining we had some hail damage, but more importantly had quite a bit of high wind damage. This included extensive photos and our insurance company confirmed this and covered the roof replacement. The roofing replacement materials and workmanship were excellent. Our windows, landscaping, etc. were all covered well to avoid damage during the tear-off of the old roof. They also updated our roof to ridge vents instead of the numerous "turtle vents" that had been there from new, at no extra cost (this gives a cleaner look that also removes numerous potential leak spots). A year or two before I had re-nailed some shingles back up that had slid down, thinking the last roofers must not have used enough nails. But turned out they had been bent back by high winds that had torn them loose, which the pictures made obvious by the lines/creases across many shingle tabs. TLDR pros and cons Pros- work was good. Helped with insurance company. Contacted me day I posted this review and made everything right. Cons- poor communication and it took almost 11 months to complete. Disorganized work scheduling. K so I'll going to start with the good. Good is, the Ruf. Work is perfectly fine. Crew was good. When they started the roof it was done that day. They did a good job with the insurance people. When I did talk to someone they were polite and courteous and quite knowledgeable/ professional. Now the bad. I first contacted Newruf in January of 2022. I had countless phone calls with them off an on for the next 10 months. ​ The materials were delivered in September 2022. My roof was completed at the end of October 2022. That's almost 11 months. During that time I did speak with them about the price and the wait time. I was told over text message that they'd knock 300 off the bill when a sudden cost popped up. When I got the invoice, they had not taken it off. There were several days where they were supposed to show up but didn't and I had changed my schedule around for them. That's understandable, things happen. After a long gap in communication, they finally did contact me and say that they needed a check for xxx more money. I had to put my foot down and tell them that "at this point I'd be a fool to give yall more money after I've been waiting for this long and already gave you a check for 13k." In total the bill was just under 20k. And other houses in the area had started and completed while I was still waiting. Michael from New Rüf approached me because he noticed that the roof of our family’s home was damaged from hail. He helped me by giving a quick and thorough inspection. Based on what he saw, he told me that he felt my insurance company would approve the construction of a new roof. In a matter of minutes I scheduled an inspection time with them. The result was a very attractive new roof and gutter system that makes our house look 10 years younger! One thing I liked about Michael was his calm and persistent attitude, and on top of that, he assisted me every step of the way and got the job done! I found the experience to be very fulfilling as a homeowner and I would recommend Michael and New Rüf to any homeowners out there who want to work with a good honest company that delivers a dream roofing system!

TRUST THE PROCESS Like most home owners, I don't know the first thing about roofs. Luckily we called NewRuf first.They explained to me the benefit and value of the high quality material they install.Then they handled all of the sometimes confusing insurance process for me.The roofers who did installation are excellent. NewRuf did a great job. They helped us in dealing with the insurance company so our claim was a breeze. Daniel was our project manager and did a great job. He kept us informed every step of the way. The workers were on time and not only did great work but they did a super job of cleaning up when they were finished. Daniel scheduled a walk around with me after the job was complete, to ensure I was satisfied. I cannot think of anything they could do to make this process better. I have already connected one of my friends with Daniel and NewRuf has done a great job for him as well.
