According to the National Oceanic & Atmopheric Administration (NOAA) and Hail Recon, a hail storm hit this location at 2:20 PM on April 6th, 2019.
The storm came in from the east and dropped 1/2 inch hail for 11.3 minutes. This location has actually been hit with nine hail events ranging in size from 1/2 inch to 1 inch in the past ten years.
That’s almost one event per year. We have provided a Hail Impact Report which shows the dates, times, size, duration, etc., of each of these events.
